#Shareyourcolors and RECYCLE! Have you ever wondered what happens to your unwanted crayons? Sadly, more than half a million pounds end up in landfills every year! These crayons don’t need to be in the landfill where they never decompose but can be recycled into new crayons for children in hospitals across America! Our First Grade classes are excited to have partnered with The Crayon Initiative in recycling crayons to protect this beautiful earth and make a difference in other children’s lives! Please send in those used crayons to your child’s teacher between now and March 31st! Thank you for supporting our recycling effort at AMES!
