Mission and Beliefs

Our Mission:

The mission of Anderson Mill Elementary School is to develop competent and confident lifelong learners by creating a safe, positive, innovative, environment where the staff, parents, and community work together to provide a curriculum that recognizes individual differences and allows for students to reach their maximum potential.

It is the intent of the faculty and staff to lead students toward being disciplined, productive, informed, and fulfilled individuals. To achieve these ideas, mutual respect, and understanding must be present in the learning process on the part of all of the participants: the faculty and staff, students, families, and the community.

We Believe:

-Student learning is the chief priority for the school.
-All students can learn and will be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
-Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process and when individual differences are recognized.
-Parents, teachers, and community work together to enable students to develop a positive attitude, gain confidence, and become self-disciplined, lifelong learners.
-A school should provide a safe facility and a positive climate.
